Humbly confident, endlessly curious, and genuinely kind, we love working together to build and launch big ideas. Our fully distributed workplace gives you the flexibility and freedom to do your best work your way.
The Way of the Web Chef—our values—guides how we engage with each other and our clients. Everyone at Four Kitchens has a voice in what we do and how we do it. We believe that having a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team makes for a better workplace and more informed ideas.
We are confident in our expertise, yet unafraid to say we don’t have the answer.
We encourage compassionate honesty, even when being forthright is difficult or the truth is unpleasant.
We are intrinsically motivated to identify opportunities and resolve problems.
We collaborate enthusiastically by building on people’s suggestions and trying new things to arrive at the best outcome.
We embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and improve—regardless of how much we’ve already accomplished or what limitations might exist.
We prioritize the well-being of our communities by volunteering time, energy, and expertise to help others and the greater good.
Our fully distributed workplace means you can join Four Kitchens without uprooting your life. Keeping standard working hours in mind, you can work when and where you like. And every year, you get to meet your co-workers at our all-company retreat.
Not only do you get to work with smart, funny people who love what they do, but we also take great care of you.
We plan for all team members to take at least three weeks of PTO per year, plus we close the company for a Winter Break between Christmas and New Year’s. We highly recommend everyone remove Slack and email from their devices so they aren’t tempted to check in on work.
We rarely put in more than 4o hours per week. There may be times during a launch or event that people work extra hours, but we encourage them to take more time off later so it balances out.
Creating cool stuff for the web doesn’t require us to be in the same building, so as long as you have a reliable internet connection and you’re not dialing into meetings in the middle of the night, you’re free to live or travel wherever you like.
Don’t see a role that sounds like you? We are always looking for our next Humbly Confident Web Chef.
