Four Kitchens & Advomatic have merged!
Humbly confident, endlessly curious, and genuinely kind, we love working together to build and launch big ideas.
At Four Kitchens, "people-first" means living our values in everything we do, from our internal policies to our client services processes. We practice empathy with each other and our clients, exemplify extreme ownership as individuals, and share radically candid feedback so that we learn, grow, and become better, together.
Our fully distributed workplace means you can join Four Kitchens without uprooting your life. Keeping standard working hours in mind, you can work when and where you like. And every year, you get to meet your co-workers at our all-company retreat.
Not only do you get to work with smart, funny people who love what they do, but we also take great care of you. In addition to perks like parental leave and professional development budgets, these are some of the important things we value:
We plan for all team members to take at least three weeks of PTO per year, plus we close the company for a weeklong winter break annually. We highly recommend everyone remove Slack and email from their devices so they aren’t tempted to check in on work.
We rarely put in more than 40 hours per week. There may be times during a launch or event that people work extra hours, but we encourage them to take more time off later so it balances out.
We’ve been a fully distributed team since 2015. We believe that creating cool stuff for the web doesn’t require us to be in the same building, so as long as you have a reliable internet connection and you’re not dialing into meetings in the middle of the night, you’re free to live or travel wherever you like.
The most successful Web Chefs:
We’re committed to providing an inclusive workplace and building a diverse team. At our core, we believe deeply in diversity and inclusiveness as being critical parts of a healthy team. We aim to create an environment where everyone, from any background, can do their best work. If you look at our team page and don’t see yourself, don’t shy away. Come work with us!
Don’t see a role that sounds like you? We are always looking for a potential fit for our next open role, even if we don’t know precisely when that will be. If our Core Values resonate with you, we are eager to meet you, build a relationship, and see where things go in the future. By having a conversation now, we’ll move through the hiring process more quickly when we open a position. Let’s talk and get one step closer to doing great work together! Drop us a line if you think you’re our next Humbly Confident Web Chef.
