Technical Project Manager
While working in public relations for Penn State’s College of Engineering, Becky started down the road to technical project management after becoming her department’s go-to person for tech fixes. She continued to hone her skills as a web editor, web administrator, and IT project manager for Penn State World Campus, then at Michigan Tech, where she had her hands in several pots, including SEO, project management, and content writing.
Becky continues to learn and follow her instincts to go where she’s needed. She loves the always-changing, yet ever-regimented world of technical project management, and strives to keep her teams happy—challenging them when the occasion calls for it, but never overstretching their capacity for doing good work. She loves witnessing the evolution of websites and seeing them fulfill not only her clients’ needs, but also serve the greater good.
Twice a year, Becky runs writing camps in Central Pennsylvania, providing a relaxed, collaborative environment for writers of all skill levels to work and share ideas. She also serves as editor-at-large for a literary magazine and loves spending time outside, whether it’s hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, or otherwise carving new trails with her husband and very active dog.
