Hector was first introduced into programming as a computer science student at Brigham Young University in 2015. There he discovered his passion for web development. Initially developing with Laravel, Hector was later introduced to Drupal 7 and 8 in 2019 working with contrib modules and content localization. He cemented his love of Drupal when he attended his first DrupalCon in Portland. Hector craves learning and overcoming new challenges, of which Drupal provides plenty.
Outside of work, Hector is usually spending time with his family, or involved in some kind of home improvement project. He enjoys sharing memes and anime with his wife, building Lego towers with his son, camping, biking, reading, building PCs, and obsessing over video games and anything Star Wars related.
