Technical Project Manager
With a master’s in integrated marketing communications, Joanna started her career as a professor of communications. After a decade of teaching, she decided to practice what she preached, and embarked on a journey as a freelance project manager and technical strategist. She has worked for a variety of clients, from small brick-and-mortar businesses and tech startups, to universities and large retail companies.
Joanna’s favorite class to teach was “The Art of Listening,” and she truly believes that class is the foundation of being a successful project manager. She enjoys fostering an open line of communication with clients, working with teams on complex problems resulting in creative and effective solutions, and organizing all the puzzle pieces required for a project.
When she’s not “listening,” Joanna can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband and her three active dogs. A true lover of all the seasons, Joanna will either be camping, kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or just strolling in the woods. When she is indoors, she can be found cooking, baking, or curling up on the couch with her family and the remote control.
