Brian was a senior frontend engineer and practice group lead at Four Kitchens from 2016 until 2022. A people person at heart, he likes getting to know everyone around him and building websites that make people’s lives easier.
Brian took programming classes in high school and spent his senior year at Interlochen Arts Academy, where he specialized in percussion performance. He then went on to earn a Bachelor of Music Education from Wichita State University, taught music for two years, then eventually embarked on his career as a web designer.
Brian loves working on highly complex websites that require equally complex designs. He enjoys defining the ways in which styles should be applied, and believes providing clear context about a site’s functionality and design can give content creators the tools they need to succeed with minimal effort.
Family is everything to Brian, so he loves spending as much time with them as he can. When he’s not creating things for the web, he likes to create things with his hands, which has led to a newfound interest in woodworking.
