Sometimes data exists outside of your Drupal platform that would help your users. Four Kitchens Support team can create a custom API for accessing, transforming, and displaying that data in a way that meets your needs.
American Craft Council:
Artist Resource Center JSON Feed Importer
American Craft Council hosts high-end craft shows throughout the U.S., promoting hundreds of artists. Four Kitchens Support connected ACC’s artist resource center with the backend of their new Drupal website. Now artists can manage their own assets, and visitors can search and browse information about the artists by a variety of different options. This is a critically valuable integrated tool that saves ACC staff time and effort keeping the information current, and serves as a handy reference tool for show visitors before, during, and after the show.
Crop Map Tool Integration
With the help of Four Kitchens Support, Meredith Agrimedia integrated a a set of maps into their Agriculture.com site to show metrics related to planting, growing, and harvesting progress for multiple crops in the US—allowing agriculturalists to understand what is happening all around the country. Four Kitchens Support created an API to pull available information from the USDA, and display it in an easy to consume visual format.
Deepening User Engagement
A top goal is always to deepen engagement with your users. Whether that means accessing more content, utilizing additional tools, or interacting with others on the site, Four Kitchens Support can help you make your visitors feel connected.
Stanford University’s Dean of Research needed a way for users to save and organize articles, information, and course content from their website. Four Kitchens created a mechanism for Stanford DOR that allows users to save any page to their personal MyDOR Dashboard to read later—without the burden of interrupting their current research.
Rebranding and Style Enhancements
From time to time, you need to freshen up the visual identity of your organization—online and in print. Four Kitchens Support can help to ensure that your visual refresh can be easily translated to your website, and ensure consistency across all channels.
ACCME: Website Rebranding
Four Kitchens did not originally develop the website for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, but we have provided multiple years of support with this forward-thinking client. Recently, ACCME engaged a marketing firm to help them refresh their visual identity, which then needed to be applied to their website. Our team analyzed the guidelines, developed an implementation plan, created supplemental templates, and launched the website changes in conjunction with their organization-wide rebranding rollout. The result was a clean, fresh, consistent visual brand that expresses ACCME’s transformative trajectory in the field of continuing medical education.
